Hey! \u00a0We (rather unexpectedly) received a message from Alia Shawkat (Maeby F\u00fcnke) today! \u00a0Apparently she was in Austin for ACL but didn’t get to stop by, so she sent this picture with a friend of hers who was in town.<\/p>\n

I want you to notice a few things.<\/p>\n

  1. She called herself our friend!<\/li>\n
  2. She wrote our name! \u00a0And spelled it correctly!<\/li>\n
  3. What a nice potted plant!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now, I know what you’re thinking. \u00a0How do I know this is legit? \u00a0Part of the first letter is cut off. \u00a0That could totally say “Dananarchy.” \u00a0Or “Oananarchy.” \u00a0Or even “Pananarchy.” \u00a0You could have ripped that off a website for pananarchism. \u00a0 \u00a0 However, if you look closely you will notice that she drew a banana behind the word, and she does mention bananas in the text, so I think it’s pretty clear that she intended for the message to be directed to us. \u00a0EAT THAT, SKEPTICS!<\/p>\n

    We decided to reply with our own message, sent back through the same friend.<\/p>\n
